The Odyssey- movie review

I’m most surely one of the last people to see this epic film. It really comes through with a fantastic performance on so many levels. The interpretation of an ancient and well known tale is at the top of my list for its best features. My top pick for scene, although there are many in the running, is the closing scene with Penelope and Odyssey.

I went to a local suburban theater and I have to say that seeing a film in a theater is an undervalued activity. The crowds are low, the large recliner armchairs are fabulous, and of course a film with big characters plays out that much better on a big screen.

I’ll be going to the theater more often, even going solo doesn’t feel that odd.
