Does Liberalism self-destruct?

There are many signs of a younger generation throwing off the foibles of the left and tacking on in a new direction. Perhaps Yglesias and Smith are the forefront examples. Liberalism is not defeated but vindicated as it rounds out another cycle. Analysis is only valid over proper time frames.
