Red Eye (2024 thriller series) is a gripping six-episode miniseries starring Richard Armitage as Dr. Matthew Nolan, a British surgeon accused of murder in Beijing, and Jing Lusi as DC Hana Li, the tough London officer escorting him on a red-eye flight back to China. I quite enjoyed the fast pacing that keeps viewers hooked with constant twists, the claustrophobic airplane setting amplifying tension like a modern Agatha Christie mystery, and strong lead performances—Armitage’s charismatic vulnerability and Lusi’s grounded determination.
